Friday show and tell
This week on my show and tell I'm showing the darling little tea set that my sister, Bonnie made for my one year old granddaughter, Mackenzie for Christmas this past year. Bonnie works a lot with ceramics and is very creative. Mackenzie was so delighted when she saw the little tea cup. I will try and get the video on this blog of her celebrating her gift.
I made these little "cookies" for Mackenzie so that she would have some cookies to enjoy with her tea!! They are about 3 inches in diameter.
I decided also to share another doily this week. My mom made this one that she used white beads around the circles. This is an eye popping doily!

What a cute teaset. I LOVE the little cookies. What a great idea!!
What a great set! My mother-in-law loves to do ceramics, but I don't think she's dared to do a tea set for my lovely but destructive daughter yet. I love the cookies to go with the tea!
A handmade tea set - that's wonderful! It's gorgeous, and the cookies are too cute. Your little grandbaby is a doll. :o)
What a sweet tea set...and the tea cookies are too cute! I'm sure your granddaughter loves to have tea with her grandma. How special!

Ask MacKenzie if I can come over and play tea party. On second thought, I noticed you live in Alaska, I will wait until about June, Ok.

Your Mom's doily is very different from all that I have seen. I love that pattern so much!
MacKenzie is a true princess with her dainty little cup!
I enjoyed your show and tell Jo!
Well, that lends a whole new meaning to the words "home made"! I love the Suffolk Puff "cookies" too. Wish I could make doilies like your mum. Clever lady.
What a lovely and thoughtful gift for a little girl! And I love your yo-yo "cookies" -- so creative! The doily is just beautiful, too. You sure have a very talented family. ;o)
I love the blue and white tea set. It is neat that it is hand made. I love the cookies too - adorable. Your doily is lovely - what wonderful work you mother did.
Thanks for sharing.

This is sweet! Starting a
