Friday show and tell

Show and Tell

This week on my show and tell I'm showing the darling little tea set that my sister, Bonnie made for my one year old granddaughter, Mackenzie for Christmas this past year. Bonnie works a lot with ceramics and is very creative. Mackenzie was so delighted when she saw the little tea cup. I will try and get the video on this blog of her celebrating her gift.

I made these little "cookies" for Mackenzie so that she would have some cookies to enjoy with her tea!! They are about 3 inches in diameter.
I decided also to share another doily this week. My mom made this one that she used white beads around the circles. This is an eye popping doily!

Show and Tell Friday

Show and Tell

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday. Please check out Kelli's blog.
I decided to share these photos of the sugar cookies that I have traditionally decorated for Valentine's day for years. They are a LOT of work but my family love to look at them and mostly, eat them. :)

Please double click the photos to get a closer view of the cookies-you will be able to enjoy them better!!

Here are the cookie cutters that I used for cutting the shapes for the cookies that I made.

This is the lovely doily that I have under the cookies. My mom made this doily. She does beautiful work which I enjoy and appreciate.

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at these cookies. I wish I could let you sample them though. :)

Friday show and tell

Show and Tell

This is one of the smaller doily's that my mom made me. It is so soft and lacy to the touch. I also decided to show some of my heart shaped pieces of jewelry for valentines day. :) The pink jeweled heart was given to me by my daughter in law, CJ. The heart shaped ivory earrings were given to me by my mom. If you look hard enough you can see a heart shaped pendant on a dainty gold chain, it was given to me by my son Jonathan. It has tiny diamonds and a mother holding a baby. It is very sweet.
