Show and Tell Friday
Welcome to Show and Tell Friday. Please check out Kelli's blog.
I decided to share these photos of the sugar cookies that I have traditionally decorated for Valentine's day for years. They are a LOT of work but my family love to look at them and mostly, eat them. :)
Please double click the photos to get a closer view of the cookies-you will be able to enjoy them better!!
Here are the cookie cutters that I used for cutting the shapes for the cookies that I made.
This is the lovely doily that I have under the cookies. My mom made this doily. She does beautiful work which I enjoy and appreciate.
I hope that you have enjoyed looking at these cookies. I wish I could let you sample them though. :)

Love the doily, especially! Does the one cookie say Mackenzie? I have a Mackenzie here.
Aren't you something else! WOW! I thought they were fake at first! I would LOVE to have a sample but I don't think they'd survive the trip to Texas! How special your family must feel!

Your cookies are beautiful and look delish too. What frosting do you use? I love the sweet roses and all the decorations on them. The doily from your mom is lovely. Linda
These cookies are sooo cute!
You could open a bakery and
sell them. YumO!
Oh yummy they look both beautiful and delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings.
The cookies are beautiful and look delicious. The crocheted doily is beautiful. My mother crocheted doilies when I was a child and taught me to crochet too. She crocheted me a dress when I was in the 4th grade. I featured it on my blog a couple of weeks ago. It is made in the pineapple pattern like your doily. I still have the dress. It's over 60 years old now. It still looks almost like new.
Those are the cutest cookies I have ever seen! You did such a great job! That is one area I really want to learn to do better in, making beautiful desserts.
Have a great weekend!
Sharon
So beautiful!! I can see it would take ages to decorate that many; but they are so yummy and I can't eat them cause I have to be gluten free!!I so miss them!!!
How pretty, both the cookies and the doily. Bet they taste good. I just finished my last pink-frosted giant heart cookie from a Valentine party. Otherwise I would be having pangs right now.
