videos of Mackenzie

This is a darling video of Mackenzie loving up on her dolly!! Once at "Youtube" you can check out the other newest videos of her-they are all cute!!

we are in Phoenix

We made it to Phoenix very exhausted from traveling. Praise the Lord for safety. The interstate was very busy! We have gotten a lot done while here. Getting here in the midst of the hottest part of the year isn't such a good idea. I love the heat but this temperature with no aclimation is pretty rough at times. I just miss opening up the windows and doors to let in the fresh air.

On the Road

Tomorrow morning we head on down the road to Phoenix. It will be hard leaving the sweet family here but we know that we will be back soon to see them again. We have a lot to do while in Phoenix.

I have to share these photos of life around here. Drew walks to the ferry everyday for work and comes back on the ferry. It is a 25 minute ride from Kingston to Edmonds. The ferry can hold a LOT of people and a LOT of cars. (about 200 cars) The ferry leaves both ports about every 35-45 minutes.

Our BEELA GIRL

Mackenzie has been teaching us new words while we are here. She entertained us for a couple of days with the word "beela"!! So now we call her our
Beela girl!!

Misc.

We are thankful for safety in travel. My hubby drove from Alaska to Kingston, Washington safely. It was a beautiful trip for him. He saw LOTS of wildlife. It rained quite a bit as he got around Prince George and was pretty hairy driving in the dark and torrential rainfall.
We have been running around with the family checking out the scenery and meeting with friends and checking out a new place for the kids to live and totally enjoying the grandbaby!!!

Left Kenai

We finished cleaning our house and got everything out on May 31st and headed out of Kenai. I wasn't prepared to become emotional about leaving the house but it happened. After living in the house for 25 years, we had to pause and remember a few things that had happened there in our time there, so it was emotional. Then we headed up the road to Anchorage for a couple of nights. I got to spend time with my sisters and their families, needless to say, we had a great time. My sister, Lillian prepared a fabulous birthday dinner for Jim! The cake stole the show. In case you can't make it out , it is in the shape of the top of a bald head with eyebrows and the hair on the sides-very cute!!
I left Anchorage on June 2nd for Kingston, Wa to be with our daughter, Julie and her husband, Drew and our first and only grandbaby, Mackenzie. What a blessing. We have been blessed over and over again while admiring her.
