This is my attempt to join the "Show and Tell Friday" blog. I'm hoping that I can follow the directions and get my picture up and all.
This is a picture of a part of my collection of doilies. These doilies have been made mostly my my mom, some by my sister-in-law, some by friends and some by me. I will try and gather up more to show. I have them displayed in a basket that has heart shapes on the end. With our move, I have doilies in different places, so the basket isn't as full as it should be. I will also tell something about each doily as time goes by. I enjoy touching them and looking at them. Some of the doiles have colored beads on them. http://kellishous.blogspot.com/

How pretty! I love the one with the floral embroidery on it. Thank you for sharing!
pretty cool collection! hope you'll visit mine too.
It really looks like you have some wonderful doilies there. I like the basket idea for keeping them out and visible...
Very pretty!!! I would be in Doily heaven if I had all those:)

This is a very nice collection. My Mother used to do a lot of crochet. I will look forward to seeing more!

Mrs Jo Jo, I like your show and tell and you did a good job! I like the sentimental value that they have to you. JO JO is a special name to me - it is what my children call my mother! Have a great weekend- Jennifer
I love doilies too, and would love to see them on your show & tells. Thank you so much for sharing and stopping by my show & tell also.
Have a great weekend.

Such pretty doilies! I didn't used to be a doily person, but I've come to love the way they look. I have quite a few from family and friends, but I haven't found a good way to display them yet. I will have to find a basket I guess...
I love doilies. You have a great collection of them. It is nice that your mother and sister-in-law made them, they are family treasures!

Lovely doilies. I've never made one, but a friend of mine made me two. Later I found out how long it took her to make them. They are very precious to me. Thank you for sharing yours.

I have several doilies that I crocheted in the far away past. I learned to crochet about a hundred years ago. I will be eager to see each one of your lovely doilies. I was drawn to this blog by the name Mrs. JoJo. My middle name is Jo and my cousin called me JoJo. I hated it. Now I don't think it's so bad.
Thank you all for your comments. My hubby has called me JoJo for many years so I decided that I would use it as my name on my blog. Actually, I would LOVE it if one of my (someday) grand daughters middle name would be Jo.
This is my first time on Show and Tell Friday and it has been fun looking at so many fun show and tells and meeting such wonderful blogging people.
For comments on the baskets: I really like using baskets for presenting things.
I like this idea and might just incorporate it on Fridays at my little bloggy corner of the planet. I have some beautiful lace doiles made by my grandma in law and my OMI in Germany used to make lace and crochet and do all kind of delicate works too.

How nice to have such a collection of doilies made by your family members! I like the way you have them displayed in the basket as well. :)
Welcome to show and tell Friday! Your doily collection is just beautiful and I love how you have them displayed!
Hugs,
Kelli
What a huge collection you have. What are you going to do with them? I've seen them... sewn onto pillows and even appliqued onto the tops of quilts... hanging over the edges of shelfs as well... hmmmm now I want some doilies! lol
Connie, I hope that you join the "Show and Tell Fridays" I think it is a great idea. It was fun seeing a lot of the entries-I haven't had the time to check them all out yet. :)
Cheryl, I just enjoy looking at them and touching them. :) I don't have any plans as of yet to do anything different with them. I think just displaying them gives me a lot of pleasure.
Mrs. JoJo,
When I saw your name in Mr. Linky at Kelli's show & tell, I just had to visit your blog! We have called my daughter Joanna, JoJo for many years. She is all grown up now with a home and family of her own, but she will always be JoJo to her dad and me. To her siblings, too!
And as I mentioned earlier, I love the doilies you shared, too. So glad you joined in on show & tell!
God bless,
Mrs.T
What a lovely collection. A real treasure trove.
