Alaskan experience

Well, we wake up this am with a temperature of 15 degrees below 0!! Global warming at it's finest. There are areas 30 miles away with temps of 28 below 0. Sort of slow moving right now- got to do a little exercise to warm up and DRINK a lot of COFFEE!!
Maybe Augustine volcano should explode and give off the gases that cause global warming and we will warm up!! Stay warm!!

Glad you're posting again, I've been checking your site daily, hoping...I LOVED your tipsy snowman! Here in Texas, the rare times it's snowed, maybe 2 inches at the most, the kids have made teeny, tiny snowman! Pretty funny looking! Congrats on the new grandbaby!!! Our 4th is due on Feb.27th. Being a grandmother is such fun!!

Thanks Constance. We woke up to 2o below 0 this am and the snowman is leaning over a little more. I can't believe that it is still standing!! It is the funniest thing. I'm really looking forward to being a grandma. I held a newborn on Monday evening at a baby shower and I was so close to tears. Babies are sooooo precious, so fabulous, so miraculous.

Congrats, also on your new grandbaby. Due date is almost here! Do they live close to you?

I have to laugh to myself when I read about your temperatures! I'm driving around again today with the windows down!! Crazy isn't it?

It's is my oldest daughter Jennifer, age 28 that's having another baby girl. Baby Ashley is due Feb. 27th and her big sister Aly was born Feb 26th, 2004. We're wondering if their birthdays could land on the same day? It has happened in our family quite a bit!

Home for us is Missouri, specifically St Charles, just outside St Louis. We're Texas transplants, due to Dave's job with the BNSF RR. Jennifer and her husband have been living in Columbia, MO since Corey, her husband decided to attend Mizzou.

It's about a 10 hour drive for me when I get the call that she's going into labor. I just got back from a weekend visit with her for her birthday. Feel free to click on my name to bring up my blogsite. There are tons of pics and useless ramblings on there!
