I am so excited about this quilt. I will be hand quilting with gold thread. I am so pleased with the yellow flannel backing!!

This inspires me to do the same. We have a Christmas quilt that I keep with the Christmas decorations in the garage. It is one I threw together when the girls were infants and so it wasn't done real well. It is so ragged now I don't know if it would survive a washing. I like what you did. Pieced look without all the time. Very cute!

WOW! I check your site every day and the time I go away for 4 days on a trip, you're posting all over the place!!!!!

The quilt is beautiful! My best friend is a quilter and one year she made me a quilt for our bed. I use it all year long!

You make pizza very similiarly to me. I too use honey but I also use whole wheat flour rather than the wheat germ! I also prebake my crut! I thought I was the only one!

Also a very Happy Belated Birthday! Mine was September 28th!

Yes, little ann, I like the pieced look without all the work, especially, this time of year. I started hand quilting today with gold thread and am excited about how it is looking.

Constance, I aim to keep all in suspense and post on an occasional basis. LOL I hope that you had a good trip. I will be checking your post as soon as I get through here.
On the pizza, I found out years ago that I would end up cooking the cheese to pieces in order to make sure the crust was cooked.
Also, Happy Belated Birthday to you! (on the 18th-I know the feeling) :)

So pretty. Good idea for something for Mom to fiddle with. She loves to play her computer game though, I don't know if I can interest her in anything else right now. :-) She did mention she needs her knitting. I better find out where that is!

I love the idea of sewing with gold, Jo! Must be beautiful.
