funky quilt
Just wanted to share a photo of the funky quilt I made for my son and his wife. (I made it in June) It was a blast to make and I did some fun quilting on it. They were here for about 10 days and I surprised them with the quilt. They also took the valances. I found the poster bed at a 2nd hand store and refinished it with white paint. It was a fun project.

That's a really bright and cheery, colorful quilt! My best friend is an accomplished quilter. I have sewn a little over the years and have done counted cross stitch as well. I like to crochet but have never learned to knit. Are you going to be making a quilt for that precious, new grand daughter?

Yes, I already have sewn for the precious little one. I will post photos early next week. I told my daughter that I will be knitting booties when we go to be with them for the blessed event!! I can't wait. She said that she and her hubby haven't planned anything for this weekend so the baby could come now!!
