This is a restaurant in Homer, AK. It is located on the spit. We visited on July 28th and the weather was perfect for walking the spit. OOOPS, I didn't realize the photo would pop up 3 times. :)
OOOPS!! The spit is a long skinny piece of land jutting out into the ocean. You might be able to see exactly what I'm talking about if you search for "Homer, Alaska" in Google. I'm sorry that I didn't take a photo of the spit to share. I missed the opportunity as we were entering Homer cause the whole group was in dire need of a bathroom. :)

Okay, I have to ask: Is the "spit" like a pier or is it one of those Alaska things that a Texan like me doesn't have a clue about? grin
