Christmas Day

Christmas Day was snowy. After our breakfast of the traditional eggs benedict we got ready for a walk on the coastal trail. The weather was perfect for a walk. Jim and I dressed in our snowpants, wool socks and wool hats. Jordan had on his hiking boots, Jeans, and a windbreaker with a hood. He is used to being out doors for serious hiking, so a short walk didn't require him to dress as warmly as we had to. There weren't very many people on the trail which made the walk very pleasant, plus the fact that Jim and I were dressed for the occasion

I liked the effect that Jordan's red coat had with the white snow covered trail and trees.

How nice. I love these pictures. It was so nice to have you at the house today. When Dima woke up he asked, "Where auntie Jo go?" Dan and I were both impressed at the impression you made so quickly with him. He knows a good woman when he meets one I guess! ;)

About Me

I hope that you are blessed by visiting my blog. My husband of 37 years and I retired and left the state of Alaska to Washington state to be close to our grandchildren. We are blessed with 6 grandchildren, 3 of whom live in Washington and 3 live in Florida. I love the state flower of Alaska, the forget-me-not and I love the color pink; thus the name "Pink Forget Me Not".

Verse of the Day

C.S. Lewis quote

If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.
