Hugs
Mackenzie is sooo excited that she can put her shoes on and take them off!!
Mt Rainer in the distance. This is some of the scenery from the ferry ride from Kingston to Edmonds on our trip to the airport to say goodbye to the family. (that was the worst part of the trip)
Mackenzie is 22 months old and already can say the ABC's and count to 10 and attempts to count to 20. I love the way she says eleven. She knows most of the animal names and their sounds. She says "chirp, chirp" for a bird sound. It is tooo cute. A couple of times in the middle of doing something she comes out with, "Oh, gosh", it was too funny. I told her mom and she said that she doesn't know where that came from. She picks up things so quickly. She can jump up and down like you would jump a jump rope-it is hilarious. She is always saying "thank you" and so I would do the same when she would hand me something and she started saying "you welcome" (too cute) Cute words she has for food---- munch for lunch, chichen for chicken, chechup for ketchup. Well, this grandma thinks Mackenzie is "one amazing" baby!!
It just tore us up to have to leave her-she just blessed us to the core. We thank the Lord for our family.

The new house
Here are some photos of the new house for Julie, Drew and Mackenzie!! It is located in Poulsbo, Washington. It is a beautiful hilly area and has a rural feel to it compared to Lynnwood where they moved from. I just have to tell you that Mackenzie stepped into my thongs just by wiggling her toes into the shoes. To do that with her socks on is quite the ordeal. She is very coordinated for her 22 months. ((bragging)) :)

More of Mackenzie
View from front window includes trees and bushes. There are a number of azaleas in the front yard.
Here is the fenced in back yard. Mackenzie looks into the dog house and say " bear"!
Mackenzie loves watching Elmo! We had to go to the house a couple of days before moving in to get the phone hooked up. Mackenzie had fun running all around the house!

Fun times with Mackenzie
Posing with the sweater that grandma made for her. The necklace is what made her day though.
Can't help but fall in love with this face!
Snuggling up with the "Alaskan Bear" that grandma brought down from Alaska for Mackenzie!
Mackenzie is worn out from all the packing. She couldn't wait to get to her "house". She knew that we had to take a boat to get to the house.
Here is the road to Julie and Drew's home in Poulsbo, Wa. It is a beautiful drive.

Friday Show and Tell
Today is Friday Show and Tell. Check it out Kelli's place:
Today I'm sharing a couple of my wall hangings that are hanging between my kitchen and dining area. The first wall hanging was made by a cousin who is crazy about sewing and does a beautiful job with the blanket stitch. She outlined each cup and saucer and star with the blanket stitch. I love the colors that she chose. I have pink in my kitchen and dining area so it goes nicely there.
This second item is a teapot wall hanger made of wire. I use it to hang the dainty little crochet dresses and pantaloons that my mom crocheted. I'm planning on sharing what is in the basket next week.
I haven't been around for the last month because I had a little grandson who was born in Florida and I have made a couple of trips down there and was enjoying him so much that I didn't have time to post anything. If you look at the previous post you can see this precious little one.
